Recognition

You don't do it for the recognition, though it sure can be nice when it happens.

TASB and other associations have programs to recognize boards and individual trustees who set an example for their peers. Take a moment to notice the boards who have earned these honors, and think about what your board can do to get there.

Honored districts include Big Spring, Castleberry, Northside, Pampa, Richardson, Weatherford, and San Antonio ISDs. A 2005 Texas Lone Star article (pdf) can tell you more.
